The nylon 66 gland material is free from halogen and silicon, so there's minimal risk of toxic fumes in the event of a fire and it's self-extinguishing for added safety. It's also heat resistant, with a working temperature of up to +120°C. The ring seal is IP66 rated to withstand high-pressure jets of water – ideal in industrial settings such as processing and cooling plants.
