Eaton British Standard Fuse, gG Utilisation Category, Offset Bolted Tag Type - OSD80

Protect cables and devices with this British Standard fuse from Eaton. It's a weak link that boosts electrical safety by taking the fall when a fault such as a short circuit or overload occurs. Inside the body, there's a fine wire filament that melts to break the circuit when it receives more than its 80A-rated current. The fuse is a high rupture capacity type and has a gG utilisation category, with a 500V AC voltage rating. This makes it a good option for general-purpose and low-voltage industrial applications.

Features & Benefits

• Tags are offset at both ends for easy mounting in holders and other devices
• M5 mounting holes enable straightforward bolting with regulation fixings
• Low power loss of 7.2W to minimise energy waste

What holders are suitable for fixing this British Standard fuse?

This British Standard fuse fits accurately into various Eaton holders, including the CM100F (418-489) and CM100FW (247-9262). These are DIN rail mountable types, so they're an effective solution for use with fused circuits on control panels and distribution boards.
