SKF Deep-Groove Ball Bearing, 10mm ID, 28mm OD - 16100-2Z

Handle axial and radial loads in both directions with this deep-groove ball bearing from SKF. It features top-quality balls made of high-carbon chromium bearing steel for improved rolling fatigue strength and toughness. As this material is also corrosion-resistant, it won't rust when exposed to moisture and delivers long-lasting performance. To stop dirt and debris from getting into the workings, and to minimise friction, shields are fitted along either side of the bearing's outer ring. The advanced raceway also helps to reduce friction, which allows for higher speeds and greater spin.

• Dynamic load rating of 5.07kN and static load rating of 2.36kN for use in heavy-duty applications

• Easy to mount for quick installation

• Minimal maintenance needed, as the lubricant is locked inside the bearing

• Hardwearing shields constructed from high-strength steel

Applications

• Manufacturing pumps and compressors

• Lift manufacture and operations

• Linear guidance systems

What are the advantages of deep-groove ball bearings?

Key advantages of deep-groove ball bearings include reduced noise and minimal vibration thanks to low friction. This enables higher rotational speeds and greater bearing capabilities.
