The adapter transmits digital signals, so very little interference. The video resolution is up to 1080p and includes audio.

Does this convert DisplayPort to HDMI or HDMI to DisplayPort?


Its only converts DisplayPort to HDMI. Taking the DisplayPort output from the laptop/desktop and connects to a TV or other HDMI ready device to mirror your laptop screen.
