How does a fused switch disconnector work?

A fused switch disconnector lets you cut off power to a specific part of your circuit so that you can safely access it for servicing or repairs. In the event of a short circuit or current overload, the fuse blows, shielding the rest of the circuit and the operator from the electrical hazard.

ABB OS Range
