RS PRO 100 μF Electrolytic Capacitor 50 V DC, Through Hole


This RS PRO general-purpose electrolytic capacitor uses electrolytes to store energy and to create electrostatic fields. You'll find electrolytic capacitors like this one used for decoupling and preventing voltage fluctuations in filtering devices, as well as for storing power in flash lamps.

This product is an axial-type capacitor, which means the leads come out of either end of its cap. It comes with a safety vent to release gas, so it will prevent an explosion if the voltage gets too high.

The unit is a through-hole component, so you can easily install it by running its leads through holes in your printed circuit board (PCB). As this is a particularly secure mounting method, you can be confident the capacitor will hold up well to environmental stress. This product is MADE with only minimal amounts of any harmful materials, so it meets Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) standards.
