Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ XL-DR Disc

The Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ disc is a surface conditioning disc that combines a long lasting abrasive and 3M's Roloc™ attachment system. The compressed non-woven disc uses aluminium oxide mineral abrasive offering a continuous fast cutting action and consistency. The fibres use resin which will dissolve and break down over time, allowing them to stay strong and heat resistant. Suitable for removing paint and rust from seams, doors, moulding, welds and other tight areas.

Unique Construction

The unique construction of the Scotch-Brite™ disc is made up of non-woven fibres and aluminium oxide abrasive making it tough and durable. The open web material is kept consistent as the open web material runs cool, limiting fibres to clog up.

Flexibility

The Scotch Brite™ surface conditioning disc allows for easy adaptation to a profiled surface. It has been designed to last longer than wire brushes and other abrasive discs. The abrasive density allows for an aggressive cutting power for effective deburring without damaging the part.

Quick Change System

The Roloc™ system from 3M™ provides a secure attachment on heavy duty applications. It allows for Roloc discs to be quickly swapped out from one application to another in seconds. The plastic threaded button or screw is designed to easily and quickly screw on a Roloc TR disc pad.

Features and Benefits

• Strong unitised construction provides effective edge deburring and finishing
• Hard densities offer good edge retention, to help maintain a consistent shape and cutting action
• Soft densities offer conformability and flexibility for finishing flat, contoured, or irregular surfaces without damaging the part
• Compressed, open-web construction and uniform grain distribution provides consistent cutting action
• 3M™ Roloc™ attachment system offers quick and easy disc change-out for multi-step finishing processes

Typical Applications

• Removing paint, rust, harden adhesives, light scratches and weld burns and more.
• Great for smoothing, polishing and cleaning most metals.

FAQ's

Benefits of using a non-woven disc?
