RS PRO 2.85 mm Matte Black PLA Matt 3D Printer Filament, 2.3 kg
New to 3D printing and need an easy-to-use filament? Our RS PRO Poly Lactic Acid (PLA) filament works at a relatively low temperature and doesn't require a heated bed to avoid your print warping as it cools. PLA is made from natural sources such as sugar cane or corn starch.
This matte black filament comes in a diameter of 2.85 mm giving you a stiffer filament than thinner options. This means it will retain its form for longer and makes it a great choice for demanding industrial applications. PLA 3D prints are known for their great surface detail and you can further improve this with a little sanding and trimming.
All products in our RS PRO range have been tested for durability and consistency. PLA filaments are commonly used for 3D printing projects where aesthetics are important. They're also used to manufacture food packaging, prototypes and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
