Hall Effect Current Sensors
Hall Effect Current Sensors named after it's founder American physicist Edwin Hall, allowing non-contact detection of two types of currents which are alternating and direct. These types of sensors are activated by an external magnetic field. In this generalized device, the Hall sensor detects the magnetic field produced by the magnetic system. The magnetic system is known as the Hall element. A hall element is a magnet-electric converting element.
Why use a Hall Effect Current Sensors over other technology?
These current sensors help to minimise the power loss of the target current circuit whilst still utilising its simple design without hindering reliability and accuracy. These sensors are designed for AC or DC current sensing in industrial, commercial, and communications systems.
