Peltier Modules

Peltier modules, also known as Peltier devices or thermoelectric coolers (TECs), are devices that use the Peltier effect to transfer heat when an electric current passes through them. When powered, one side of the module becomes cold, while the opposite side becomes hot. This enables compact, reliable, and precise heating and cooling without moving parts, fluids, or compressors. They are commonly used for small-scale cooling in CPUs, IC’s, laboratory equipment, and medical devices. Peltier modules can also be used for thermoelectric power generation through the Seebeck effect, in which a voltage is generated when a temperature difference is applied across the two sides of the module.
