Pluggable Terminal Blocks
A pluggable terminal block, also known as a pluggable connector, plug-in terminal block or modular terminal block, is a device used to provide a connection between wires in electrical systems. A pluggable terminal block consists of a base connector which can be a header mounted on a PCB, DIN rail or panel into which a removeable, plug-in mating connector, usually a male or female plug is inserted to make an electrical connection. The main advantage of a two-part pluggable terminal block over a fixed single part terminal block is that it allows wires to be easily connected or disconnected without having to solder or use additional tools. The modular, plug-in design of pluggable terminal blocks offers a reliable and convenient solution for wire connections and disconnections making electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting easier, quicker and more efficient.
