Honeywell Open-On-Rise Thermostat, Manual Reset, +150°C Opening Temperature - 2455RM Series - 2455RM 9082-472 L150

Protect your appliances from overheating with this open-on-rise thermostat from Honeywell. This component cuts power to the circuit when the temperature rises above +150°C to prevent temperatures from increasing further. Its silver and nickel alloy contacts are highly conductive and resistant to corrosion for a stable and reliable connection. As this thermostat has solder tab terminals, it's simple to install securely.

Features & Benefits

• Long mechanical service life of 6,000 cycles for long-term performance
• Phenolic housing material is resistant to heat and impact
• Wide operating temperature range of 0°C to +150°C for use in demanding environments
• Manual reset function for enhanced control
• Light weight of just 6g to place minimal strain on your equipment

Applications

• Medical equipment
• Air conditioning systems
• Industrial automation

How does this thermostat work?

This thermostat has a bimetallic disc that serves as a bridge in the circuit and carries electricity under normal thermal conditions. When the temperature rises above the set point, one of the metals expands more than the other and bends away from the circuit, cutting off the power.
