TE Connectivity Pneumatic CERTI-CRIMP Tool Holder Assemblies
Pneumatic CERTI-CRIMP tool holder assemblies that form part of a pneumatic crimp tooling system. These tool holders are fitted to power units (TE part numbers 189721-1 & 189722-1 for stock numbers 864-7014, 864-7023 and 782-7442 and TE part number1490567-1 for stock number 864-6954) and are designed to accept interchangeable crimp head adapters for crimping various connector types. These Pneumatic CERTI-CRIMP tool holder assemblies consist of a body, cam, adjustable eccentric, pivot pin and ratchet pawl. The eccentric controls the amount of cam pressure exerted on the crimping head jaws or dies. The ratchet mechanism has a range of settings and ensures that a full crimp cycle is achieved by remaining locked until the jaws or dies bottom. An emergency release is also available.
