TE Connectivity AMPMODU Short Point Crimp Snap-In Receptacle Contacts
A range of TE Connectivity AMPMODU short point contacts designed to mate with 0.64mm square or round posts that are 4.29 to 6.58mm in length. These AMPMODU short point contacts have a locking lance feature and snap into AMPMODU MTE housings to provide a complete wire-crimp system or simply be used as replacement contacts. These short point crimp snap-in receptacle contacts are made from copper alloy with gold or tin plating options and support a maximum wire insulation diameter of 1.52mm.

The TE Connectivity AMPMODU MTE interconnection system is utilized in wire-to-board and wire-to-wire applications, and can be found in many types of electronic equipment including computers, copiers, commercial printers, appliances, medical equipment, and automotive controls. The product implements Insulation Displacement Contacts (IDC) or Crimp Snap-In contacts to suit customer’s needs.

Coupling shrouds permit ganging of smaller receptacle and pin assemblies with guide ribs to form larger single or double row latching connectors
Available in three platings
Swage option on posts provides retention in PC board
High temperature option is SMT compatible
