StriX Cable Stripper and Cutter - Bimaterial handles insulated 1000V - Tether attachment point for a tool tether

The Knipex StriX insulated wire stripper incorporates shears for single, multiple and fine multi-stranded conductors with plastic or rubber insulation up to 5 mm. The jaws of these strippers have increments in the jaw to provide visual orientation for consistent stripping lengths. Two additional features include an integrated shear blade for cutting copper cable up to 15 mm and an insulated handle and lanyard attachment for VDE protection and ensuring work at height.

Features and benefits

VDE certified and 1000V insulated.
For working with wire or cable from cutting to stripping.
The multi-functionality of this pliers allows to have 2 tools in 1, the power of the cable cutter and the fineness of the stripper at its end (the ergonomics or the protection of the person can be put forward by the reduction of the number of tools in a bag or toolbox).
Easy adjustment of the wire diameter with knurled nut and lock nut
Slender shape for easy access.
Pliers with integrated insulated eyelet for attaching a fall prevention device.
With this classic wire stripper, no damage to the wire lamination film will occur due to the V-shape, but the setting of the stripper must be precise.
Special quality tool steel, forged, oil-hardened in several stages.

Approvals

DIN EN 60900, IEC900: 1987 and VDE; EN 60900 (plastic insulation)
