Molex Sabre 7.5 mm Power Connector Crimp Housings, 44441 Series

Sabre power connector crimp housings with a 7.5mm pitch for use in high current, high vibration wire to wire and wire to board applications. These Sabre crimp terminal housings have separate terminal cavities that provide full terminal isolation. Polarization and positive locking features ensure accurate and secure mating to the plug or header connector. The positive locking latch also prevents accidental disengagement. An extra feature of these Sabre crimp housings is an anti-tangle latch designed to prevent accidental latch breakage and reduce tangling during assembly of the harness. The female crimp contacts for these crimp housings feature integral Terminal Position Assistance (TPA) which locks the terminal to the housing to prevent terminal back-out in high vibration applications. The TPA is activated optionally. These Sabre power connector crimp housings will mate with the 43160 series PCB mount Sabre header connectors and the 43680 series cable mount Sabre plug connectors. The 43375 series crimp contacts must be purchased separately.

Features and Benefits

Suitable for high current and high-voltage applications up to 18A at 600 V
Fully isolated contact cavities
TPA on terminals to prevent terminal back-out in high vibration applications
Positive latching for secure connection to mating plug or header
Anti-tangle latch to prevent accidental latch breakage and tangling during harness assembly

Applications

These Sabre power connectors are ideal for use in a wide range of applications which require current ratings of up to 18 A per pin at 600 V. Applications include Networking, telecom and storage equipment, medical equipment, business equipment, vending and gaming, appliances/white goods, automotive and transportation and military/aerospace (COTS). Other industries include HVAC, industrial, security, solar and lighting.
