LT1764 - LDO Regulator, Linear Technology
Linear Technologys LT1764 range of low dropout regulator is able to supply 3A of output current with a 340mV dropout voltage. With a wide output range of 1.21V to 20V these fast transient response LDO has very low quiescent current which will drop to less than 1 micro amp in shutdown and will not rise in dropout. The LDO voltage regulator has low output voltage noise making it perfect for RF supply applications in addition to this it can be used as a post regulator for switching supplies as well as 3.3V to 2.5V Logic Power Supply applications.

Linear Technology Low Dropout Linear regulators (LDO) present very low dropout, line and load regulation and fast transient response. The positive, negative and multiple output LDO Linear regulators come in fixed or adjustable outputs. Some LDO+ devices have more features than the standard linear regulators; some can monitor the voltage, current and temperature.
