The STMicroelectronics LD39050 is a low noise voltage regulator that provides 500 mA maximum current with an input voltage range from 1.5 V to 5.5 V and a typical dropout voltage of 200 mV. The ceramic capacitors provide stability. Due to the ultra low drop voltage, low quiescent current and low noise features it is suitable for low power battery powered applications. Typical applications include phones, hard disks and battery-powered systems. 65 dB is the power supply rejection at low frequencies and it starts to roll off at 10 kHz.
