Microchip Technology Buck Boost Switching Regulator


The Microchip Technology MIC2876 series is a surface mount, 8-pin, UDFN packaged buck-boost regulator. This operates in bypass mode automatically, when the input voltage is greater than the target output voltage. It has an input voltage rating from 2.5V to 5.5V and an output voltage rating of 5V. This boost converter switches to pulse frequency modulation (PFM mode) to improve efficiency. It is a 2MHZ synchronous boost regulator and has shutdown current is less than 1μA.
