The MPS International Ltd Monolithic step down switch mode converter with built in internal power MOSFETs and inductor. The DC to DC module has a small surface mount 3mm x 5mm x 1.6mm QFN package. It achieves 3A continuous output current from a 2.7V to 6V input voltage with excellent load and line regulation. It is ideal for powering portable equipment that runs from a single cell Lithium Ion (Li+) Battery. The output voltage can be regulated as low as 0.6V. Only input, output capacitors and FB resistors are needed to complete the design.
