The Microchip MCP1502 is a buffered voltage reference capable of sinking and sourcing 20 mA of current. The voltage reference is a low drift band gap-based reference. The band gap uses chopper-based amplifiers, effectively reducing the drift to zero. The MCP1502 is available in the 6-Lead SOT-23 package. It used in application like precision DAS (Data Acquisition Systems), high-resolution data converters, medical equipment applications, industrial controls, battery-powered devices and Electric vehicle battery management systems.
