This StarTech.com USB C Gen 2 hub provides an easy installation and is purpose-built to take on the demanding transfer tasks any user requires. The adapter allows users to connect up to 4x USB A devices on a single USB C type cable, which is included. Users can expand the number of ports on their device and the number of tasks they can perform at once, a great solution for busy home and office environments.

Self-Powered for Easy Installation

Powered by an AC adapter, which is included in the box, enables the hub to provide strong reliability in performance as it eradicates any potential drops. As a result, each port receives the maximum voltage that a USB type-A device allows and can power all connected devices at equal high-speed full-powered performance. Meaning power demanding devices like external storage and hard drives are able to run at optimum levels.

Extended Cable Length

The connecting cable has an extended length of 1m, allowing users the flexibility to position the USB hub where needed. This powered hub doesn't require any additional software to be downloaded and works connected to any device or desktop no matter the running operator. With no set up required, it's incredibly easy to use, just plug in and play.

SuperSpeed Transfer and Power

Transfer speeds reach up to 10Gbps, which means transferring large amounts of data from external hard drives and other devices is quick and effortless.

There is also a dedicated charging USB port for devices that support fast charging capabilities. This port has two operating modes:

• Normal data transfer and power/charging when the laptop is connected and on.
• Dedicated or hostless charging, providing a higher current when the laptop is off, on standby or is disconnected.

Backwards Compatibility

Use USB 1.1 and upwards with this multi-port hub, allowing you to utilise legacy devices so there’s no need to upgrade perfectly functionable equipment.

213-3116 or 213-3117 are dock mounts. The mini USB hub features mounting holes designed to fit with either of these products for added flexibility and security.
