The ethernet port fits an RJ45 male connector, which supports Wake-on-LAN (WOL) and is compatible with IEEE 802.3/u/ab standards. This makes it highly suitable for individual use as well as a network of computers.

It is fully portable and does not need to be externally powered; simply plug the device into the USB-C port in any laptop or desktop to start using the hub.
