What is the difference between USB Types 2.0 and USB 3.0?

There are key differences between the USB 2.0 & USB 3.0 is that the USB 3.0 has an improved data transfer speed, transferring data up to 5Gbps whereas the USB 2.0 can only support speeds up to 480Mbps.
