What's the transmission speed of this cable? You can expect reliably high-speed data rates of up to 480Mbps with this cable.

Which pins on a micro USB are power?

Pin 1 and 5 provide the power.

What is the difference between micro and mini USB?

A micro USB is slightly smaller than a mini USB. The micro has 5 pins, one of which is for ID. The mini also has 5 pins, however, the same pin that is known as the ID on the micro USB, doesn’t work on the mini. This means that a mini USB doesn’t have the capability to switch between host and peripheral roles. With OTG products, such as this StarTech.com product, this limitation has been overcome.

What’s in the box?

• 1x 200mm M/M Micro to Micro USB cable

Note:

This adapter will only work with devices that support USB OTG. Please consult your documentation and/or your service provider to ensure that your device supports USB OTG functionality.
