This RS PRO 3-pair low-voltage multipair industrial cable is used to reliably process high volumes of data. It contains 3 twisted pairs of conductors which are colour coded for easy installation.
Each conductor has 7 core strands of 0.6 mm each and is foil-shielded to reduce external electrical interference. A tinned-copper drain wire provides grounding. There's a flexible outer sheath of grey PVC for protection from damage in challenging environments. The cable has an outer diameter of 5.9 mm and a cross-sectional area of 0.22 mm².
This cable is flame-tested to CSA FT4 standards and it also meets the EU Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC, ensuring high safety levels for users. It also complies with the Electronic Industries Association RS232 standard for serial data transmission. You'll often find screened multipair industrial cables used by telecommunication organisations in telephone and data networks.
