Belden 8719 Data Cable, 305m - 8719NH.00305

Experience efficient and dependable data transmission with the Belden 8719 cable.

This twisted-pair cable has 16 AWG stranded (19x29) tinned copper conductors which offer excellent conductivity and resistance to corrosion. The sheath is made of LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen), making it a great option for enclosed or populated areas. It features a large operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C.

The insulation material is PE (Polyethylene), which is widely used for communication cables. PE has low dielectric loss and high dielectric strength, ensuring superior insulation. The Belden 8719 also features best-in-class Beldfoil shield technology, which provides 100% coverage for strong signal protection. This aluminium/polyester foil construction is designed to be robust yet lightweight and flexible.

Features and Benefits:

• Flame retardant LSZH outer jacket
• Overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage)
• 18 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire
• Maximum current is 7 Amps per conductor at 25ºC

Applications:

Analog signals and digital control
Line level audio
Voice communications
Panel wiring

What are the benefits of twisted pair cabling?

Twisted pair cables are commonly used for telephone and data networks as they can transmit high volumes of data at fast speeds. Twisted pair cables contain two conductors twisted together, which carry signals in opposite directions. This design ensures that crosstalk is negated, and helps to defend against external interference which can hinder or distort signal transmission.
