TE Connectivity UPW50 Series 0.5W Precision Wirewound Resistors

The UPW series of precision wirewound resistors from TE Connectivity exhibit high stability under load and severe environmental conditions. With temperature coefficients as low as to 1ppm, the UPW range of resistors are ideal to use in a wide range of applications.

Featuring custom weld tabs and copper weld leads ensure the UPW series have a good mechanical and electrical connection between the element and the lead wires. Protection is given to the windings via of a layer of silicone RTV rubber. This allows movement of the windings during temperature cycling due to loads and to varying ambient temperatures. Outer protection is given by means of a hot transfer moulded epoxy compound which ensures an airtight coating with no trapped air.

The resistors are suitable for processing on automatic insertion equipment and cutting and bending machines.

• Custom weld tabs
• Copper weld leads
• 0.5W Power rating @ 125°C
• 10 Ω to 100k Ω resistance ratings available
• Full load stability of <50ppm @ 10000hrs, <100ppm @ 26000hrs
• Maximum temperature coefficient of ±5ppm/°C (-55 → 125°C)
• Limiting element voltage of 400V
