The Dormer M Machine tap with spiral point suited for through holes only. The steam tempered surface acts to retain cutting fluid and prevent chip to tool welding. This machine tap has powder metallurgical HSS E with steam tempered surface finish for 2.5xD through hole threading in general purpose applications.
