RS PRO Flame Retardant Fibre Thermal Insulation, 2.4 m x 610 mm x 38 mm


This flame-retardant thermal insulation sheet is made from fibres and has been specially processed to offer excellent performance in high-temperature applications. The flexible blanket from RS PRO contains no binders or lubricants so it won't give off fumes or smells during first firing. This makes it suitable for use in chimneys and heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) ducts.

As paper thermal insulation is flexible, it can be easily cut and shaped and is designed for use as a high-temperature gasket material. This makes it an ideal choice in expansion joints or as a thin thermal break.

Resistant to chemicals and solvents, this versatile thermal insulation sheet works in temperatures up to +1150ºC, so it's ideal for use in industrial environments such as furnaces, ovens and boilers. It can also be used in passive fire protection and as an effective fire stop thanks to its flame-retardancy.
