These junction boxes are made from high-impact resistant thermoplastic material and feature heat resistance and fire resistance up to 650°C / 960°C (depending on a model) in compliance with IEC 60695-2-11 standard. Junction Boxes are also water resistant (IP44 or IP55) chemical and UV resistant. It means they can be used both indoor and outdoor. They are perfect for all-around professional solutions like connecting and protecting wiring that carries electrical currents.
Features and Benefits:
• Made from high-quality, high impact, temperature, chemicals and UV resistant materials
• Operating temperature from -25 °C to +60 °C
• Boxes with protection degree IP55 are composed of a patented lid produced in a single pressing phase together with its seal
• All the boxes with cable-way inlets are suitable to be installed
with mini-trunking by using special connectors ABB
• When fitted with special housings, the base of the box can be
equipped with terminals and various accessories
• Available in RAL 7035 grey
IP resistance:
• IP44 for press-on lid boxes with cable glands
• IP55 for screw-on lid boxes with cable glands
• IP55 for screw-on lid box with smooth sides
IK resistance:
• IK07 for IP44 boxes
• IK08 for IP55 and IP65 boxes with 650°C GWT
• IK09 for IP55 and IP65 boxes with 960°C GWT
