Eaton Bussmann Series Bolted Tag Fuse - Fast Acting (FF) HRC Power Fuse Range

Eaton Bussmann Series bolted tag fuse is essentially a fuse that is fitted with brackets, these brackets allow the fuse to be bolted onto a fuse holder. Predominantly this type of fuse is used within installations as a "weak link". They are designed to break when a fault occurs, such as an overcurrent or short circuit - they are a safety and damage protection measure. Cooper Bussman's fuses are commonly found within a multitude of industrial applications, electrical equipment and wiring systems.

Features & Benefits

• Compact dimensions
• Excellent current limiting features
• High-speed clearance of AC and DC faults
• Featured a melt Point Curve Class IEC 269-4
• Fuse links, specifically designed for the protection of applications
• Conforms to industry standards
• Low voltage fuse

Eaton British Standard Fuse, 315A Current Rating, 690V AC / 500V DC Voltage Rating 315FM

Add this British Standard fuse from Eaton to your circuit to protect power semiconductors from damage resulting from short circuits. Its FF fuse speed means it's very fast-acting and it'll blow immediately in the event of a short circuit to interrupt the power before any damage can occur. Compact dimensions of 50 (length) x 41 (height) x 38mm (diameter) minimise power use and heat loss. Thanks to bolted tags that are compatible with many industrial distribution panels, you can be sure of a secure connection.

Features & Benefits

• High rupture capacity (HRC) fuse will stop a fault current that's much higher than the circuit's normal operating current
• Reliably clears both AC and DC faults at high speed, for versatility and reliability

What applications can I use this fuse for?

Fuses of this type are used in everything from convertors and motor drives to soft starters and solid-state relays.

Can I use this fuse to replace a gR type fuse?

As it's an aR type, this fuse shouldn't be used as a replacement for a gR fuse, as it provides protection from short circuits only – not from overcurrent.
