Eaton Bussmann Series Bolted Tag Fuse - Fast Acting (FF) HRC Power Fuse Range

Eaton Bussmann Series bolted tag fuse is essentially a fuse that is fitted with brackets, these brackets allow the fuse to be bolted onto a fuse holder. Predominantly this type of fuse is used within installations as a "weak link". They are designed to break when a fault occurs, such as an overcurrent or short circuit - they are a safety and damage protection measure. Cooper Bussman's fuses are commonly found within a multitude of industrial applications, electrical equipment and wiring systems.

Features & Benefits

• Compact dimensions
• Excellent current limiting features
• High-speed clearance of AC and DC faults
• Featured a melt Point Curve Class IEC 269-4
• Fuse links, specifically designed for the protection of applications
• Conforms to industry standards
• Low voltage fuse

Eaton British Standard Fuse, LET, 63 A 63LET

This British Standard fuse from Eaton is suitable for protecting semiconductor devices thanks to its ultra-rapid response time. The fuse will blow almost instantaneously in the event of an overcurrent to protect sensitive semiconductor components. It's a bolted tag fuse (also known as an offset slotted fuse), meaning it has tags fixed at either end that can be used to bolt it onto a busbar. Alternatively, you can screw it into a fuse holder.

• Standard fuse size with a body height of 26.2 mm and diameter of 17.7 mm
• Voltage rating of 240 V AC makes it suitable for use with UK mains supply
• High rupture capacity means the fuse body can withstand inrush currents of 200 kA without breaking

Why use a very fast-acting fuse?

Very fast-acting fuses are necessary to protect sensitive components that can't withstand an overcurrent for any length of time.

When shouldn't I use a fast-acting fuse?

Fast-acting fuses aren't suitable for protecting devices that rely on short-term power surges to operate, such as motors. Protect these devices with a time-delayed fuse.
