Schurter SMT Tact Switches - SMS Series


Surface mount tact switches perfect for automatic mounting and suitable for SMT IR-Reflow soldering. These tact switches are available in a choice of IP40 or IP67 protection, the IP67 versions have the benefit of being able to be exposed to soldering and cleaning processes. Further options include Gullwing and J terminal versions. The J terminal types of tact switch can be lined up with a spacing of 12.7mm in one direction and >13.5mm in the other. The Gullwing terminal types can be arranged with a spacing of 12.7mm in one direction and 17.5mm in the other direction.
Schurter SMS series of tact switches have a miniature push button with a tactile response and an actuation force of 1.8 ±0.4N for IP40 versions and 2.2 ±0.4N for IP67 versions.
