The MEC Tactile switch offers high performance, sealed switches designed for demanding applications requiring robust and reliable user interfaces. Compliant with MIL-PRF-28855H standards, these switches feature a large diameter snap on cap retention system and an actuator levelled with the switch body, ensuring durability and consistent performance. They are available in both through hole and surface-mount configurations, with actuation forces ranging from 2.0 N to 6.5 N, and contact ratings up to 50 mA at 24 VDC. The switches are sealed to IP67 standards, offering protection against dust and water ingress, and are constructed from high temperature materials to withstand advanced soldering processes.
