It converts the mains supply AC voltage to a balanced 24V DC output that's just right for low-power devices like relays. Thanks to its hiccup function, it cuts the input in the event of a short circuit and restarts automatically when the fault is cleared. As well as cutting out the need for manual resetting, this prevents electric shocks and fire outbreaks to improve safety.
