How does a switch disconnector work?
When you operate the handle and shaft, the disconnector physically breaks the circuit providing power to the attached machinery. This de-energises the equipment, letting you carry out vital repairs or routine maintenance without coming into contact with live parts. Once the work is done, you can simply return the handle to it's starting position to switch the machinery back on.
