If you need to shut down part of an electrical circuit from a distance, this switch disconnector shaft from Schneider Electric does the job. It comprises a metal rod attached to the control mechanism so you can turn the power on or off manually when the switch is inside an enclosure. As it works with any disconnector from the V02 and V2 ranges, it's a versatile piece of kit. This unit allows for a possible distance of 300 to 330mm between the door and the back of the enclosure for flexible mounting.
