The Phoenix Contact surge protection base-element is designed to provide maximum ease of maintenance with a 2-piece design. It offers impedance-neutral insertion and removal of protective plugs to ensure the signal is not influenced during maintenance work. With a nominal voltage of 24 V DC, this base element is suitable for a 4-core floating EEx ia signal circuit, offering easy selection for all possible demands in MCR applications. The compact housing width of 17.5 mm allows for mounting on NS 35/7.5 and NS 35/15, making it a versatile solution for various applications.
