The Phoenix Contact Lightning/surge arrester is a universal varistor-based plug-in lightning/surge arrester designed for 1-phase power supply networks with common N and PE connections. It is suitable for use in lightning protection levels III and IV, thanks to its discharge capacity of 12.5 kA per position. With its industry-standard overall width of 1 HP, the arrester allows for rapid installation, including easy testing and insulation measurement with its pluggable protection modules. The vibration-resistant latching ensures that the plug remains firmly in place, providing reliable protection against lightning and surges.
