Nylon 6.6 Terminal Block With Wire Protection Leaf
From RS PRO, this non-fused terminal block presents a reliable and cost-effective solution to wire-to-wire connections. The terminal block is direct-mount and so does not require the use of a DIN Rail to mount. Instead, it features two mounting screws that allow mounting to any surface. This nylon terminal block can easily be cut to a required length, allowing for a highly customizable connector solution.
This RS PRO terminal block also features metallic wire protection strips that isolate the conductor from the terminal screw, for increased safety and reliability.
Features and Benefits
• M3 x 5 mm screw terminals
• Wire protection leaf
• Nylon 6.6 housing with nickel plated brass clamps
Applications
Modular terminal connectors have a wide range of applications and are a common component in electrical installations of all kinds, both domestic and industrial. The simplicity of their screw-down termination means they are particularly well suited to semi-permanent installations.
Whether for device connection to printed circuit boards or for wire-to-wire extensions, terminal blocks provide a straight forward and dependable connection solution. These non-fused terminal blocks are often used in;
• Connecting lighting to switches
• Connecting wiring to a ground
• HVAC Systems
• Power Supplies
FAQs
Q: Are these terminal blocks suitable for all environments?
A: Though terminal blocks are highly versatile, they are not the most secure of connectors, and may not be suitable for high vibration environments or applications where impact shock is a possibility.
