Infineon Sound Sensor
The Infineon is an omnidirectional, surface mount LLGA package dual-backplate MEMS technology sound sensor with a 5-pin microphone. Its electrical rating is 3.6V with 1.3mA current. This technology is based on a miniaturized symmetrical microphone design, similar to that used in studio condenser microphones and results in high linearity of the output signal within a dynamic range. The digital microphone ASIC contains an extremely low noise preamplifier and a high-performance sigma-delta ADC. Different power modes can be selected to suit specific current consumption requirements.
