Festo Replacement Solenoid Coil, 230V AC, 3-Pin Electrical Connection - MSFW-230-50/60-OD
This replacement solenoid coil from Festo is compatible with valves from Festo's VUVS range. The copper winding is highly conductive so delivers reliable performance. Copper also has good thermal resistance, meaning there's little risk that the coil will overheat. It's easy to mount using knurled nuts and you can assemble the unit in any position, so it's a versatile choice. This solenoid coil is ideal for use in industrial automation applications including automotive machining and press working.
• Handles mild frequency and current fluctuations without any negative effect on its performance
• IP65 (ingress protection) rated enclosure is dust-tight and protected against strong water jets in any direction
• Low weight of 55g means it's convenient to handle and store

What causes a solenoid coil to fail?
Applying the incorrect voltage to a solenoid coil may cause it to burn out and fail. Electrical surges or spikes can also cause coil failure. Once a coil burns out it can't be repaired and must be replaced.
