Power supplied via power bus embedded in the DIN Rail
DIN Rail mounting

Eaton MTL Analogue Signal Conditioner, 18 to 32V DC Supply Voltage, 0 to 20mA Output - MTL1249

This signal conditioner from Eaton converts analogue signal inputs into more easily readable analogue signal outputs. It's suitable for use with both voltage and current inputs and outputs. Devices of this type are used in industrial process control and instrumentation and testing applications. You can easily select the signal levels via the switches on the device. It draws its power directly from a power bus on a DIN rail without the need for complex wiring systems. As the unit has an almost instant response time of 20 milliseconds, so there's no delay in signal conversion. This device offers isolation between power, field and system circuits to ensure a high level of electrical safety.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, for compatibility with industrial environments
• Screw terminals ensure a secure connection with wires
• Transfer accuracy of 0.2% for precise signal conditioning and improved reliability

Why can't signals from a sensor be sent directly to a control circuit?

The electronic signals detected by devices like sensors and temperature monitors are often completely different due to the variation in data measurement. This makes it difficult to input the data directly into control circuits without converting it into a readable form.
