Sick Sensor Actuator Cable, 10m Cable Length, Grey Jacket - YG2A14-100VB3XLEAX

This sensor to actuator cable is a purpose-built connection lead for industrial sensing and actuation tasks, providing an M12 female Interface to flying leads for flexible field wiring. It is designed for use in automated systems where robust signal and power transmission at up to 250V is required, offering protection against dust and powerful water jets suitable for harsh production environments.

Features & Benefits

• M12 4-pin connector for secure low-voltage connections
• 10m length enables extended reach without splicing
• PVC jacket resists chemicals and abrasion in industrial zones
• Rated to IP65, IP66K and IP67 for washdown and dust protection
• Current capacity 4A supports common sensor and actuator loads
• Working temperature range covers −30 °C to +80 °C for stationary use

Applications

• Suitable for factory automation linking sensors to control cabinets
• Ideal for conveyor and pick-and-place actuator wiring
• Used with proximity and photoelectric sensors in washdown areas
• Can be used for machine I/O connections requiring free-end termination
• Suitable for retrofit installations needing 10m M12 sensor cable

How are the conductors terminated at the free end?

The cable is supplied with unterminated flying leads for direct screw or crimp termination to Terminal blocks or custom harnesses.

What mechanical flexing conditions can it tolerate?

For recurring movement a minimum bending radius greater than 10x cable diameter is recommended and for fixed installations greater than 5x cable diameter.

What materials are used at the connector to withstand industrial use?

The connector housing is TPU with a zinc die-cast, nickel-plated locking nut and FKM sealing elements for enhanced durability.

Is the cable shielded and what is the conductor size?

The assembly is unshielded and uses four conductors with a cross-sectional area of 0.34mm² each.

What electrical impulse and insulation characteristics apply?

The rated impulse withstand is 2.5 kV with insulation resistance around 100 MΩ and specific contact resistance near 30 mΩ.
