Sick YF2A Series Sensor Actuator Cable, 25m Cable Length, Black Jacket - YF2A14-250UB3XLEAX / 2095615

This sensor actuator cable connects M12-equipped sensors to equipment via a free-ended lead for field termination. It is intended for industrial automation environments where a durable, flexible link is required between sensor or actuator devices and control systems, offering a 25 m length and compatibility with 4-wire signal applications up to 250 V.

Features & Benefits

• M12 female to free end simplifies custom termination in situ
• Polyurethane jacket offers resistance to oils and lubricants
• Rated for continuous operation across -25°C to +80°C
• IP65 IP66K IP67 protection for wet and washdown areas
• 4A current capacity supports typical sensor loads
• 0.34mm² conductors maintain signal integrity over distance

Applications

• Suitable for connection of proximity sensors on conveyor systems
• Ideal for actuators in robotic end-of-arm tooling installations
• used with distributed I/O modules in production cells
• Can be used for sensor networks in wet-processing lines
• Suitable for drag-chain installation in machine tools

How is the cable constructed to withstand mechanical movement?

The 4-wire PUR cable is halogen-free, flexible and rated for 10,000,000 bending cycles with specified bending radii for flexible use and drag-chain operation.

What electrical limits should I observe when wiring to control equipment?

The conductors are 0.34mm² with a reference voltage limit of ≤250V DC and a rated impulse voltage of 2.5 kV, with a maximum continuous current of 4A.

How does the connector resist chemical exposure and mechanical fastening?

The moulded M12 female housing uses TPU, a zinc die-cast nickel-plated locking nut and FKM seals, tightened to 0.6 Nm torque for secure, sealed connections.

Can this cable be used in enclosed high-temperature head conditions?

The connector head is specified for operation up to +85°C while the cable itself is rated to +80°C in flexible and drag-chain conditions.
