RS PRO Metric Nitrile 70 ShA Oil Seals, Single Lip

Introducing the range of RS PRO Nitrile Oil Seals, ideal for use as seals in driveshafts, crankshafts, hydraulic cylinders, and other general sealing applications in the hydraulic and pneumatic industry. This oil seal is manufactured from Nitrile rubber (NBR), which is a cost-effective material and is great for applications where the seal needs to be resistant to lubrication oils, hydraulic fluids and grease. With an assortment of metric and imperial sizes available to suit a wide variety of applications, the oil seal also offers long life and good chemical resistance to most hydrocarbons, oils and fuels to aid optimum performance for the life of the oil seal.

The single lip design of the seal ensures that the grease, oil or lubricant is kept inside where it’s needed to facilitate optimum performance while preventing the ingress of dirt, water and other contaminants that could impact the operation of the parts

The nitrile material is hardwearing with excellent resistance to chemicals and provides optimum performance and a long-lasting seal life

Operating temperature range: -20°C to 90°C

Applications:

An oil seal is a type of round or donut-shaped seal and is most commonly used to stop fluids or air from passing through into another area. Oil seals are normally seated between two sections and when compressed, they form a secure seal that prevents particle, vapour and fluid leakage which in turn protects and maintains pressure whilst keeping debris out, ensuring proper function and safety.
