RS PRO Angled; Straight Aluminium Scribe
Accurately mark out materials with this RS PRO scribing tool. It's made from lightweight aluminium for easy handling and has a central grip with a knurled surface that improves control.
The metal tips are hardened and tempered so they can be used on a variety of materials including metal and wood, so it's suitable for use in building and DIY work. Both ends are pointed for precise scribing, with one nib angled to give greater flexibility – use it in confined or awkward spaces.
This scribe comes with a sleeve for safe storage and to protect the nibs from damage. Engineers, carpenters and hobbyists use metal scribes to draw lines and shapes on materials ready for cutting. Scribes are useful in situations where pencil marks are hard to see or can be easily rubbed out such as in damp environments or on dark wood.
