The slotted screwdriver blade is made from chrome-vanadium steel for strength and durability, while the Pozidriv shaft uses S2 steel to offer increased toughness when working on high-torque screws. Blackened tips reduce corrosion and light reflection. The robust cellulose-acetate handles are shaped for a comfortable grip.
With a 52 to 56 HRC (Hardness Rockwell C) for the slot-head screwdriver and a 58 to 62 HRC for the Pozidriv, they meet the British Standard 6703 for torque in hand tools. Mechanical engineers and technicians use this type of screwdriver in the automotive, manufacturing and aerospace industries.
