3M Utility Cloth Roll, Sandpaper Type, P180 Grit - 314D CLOTH ROLL P180 50MM

When you need strong and flexible sandpaper for hard-to-reach areas, choose this utility roll from 3M. A durable J-cloth backing means the paper won't split with heavy use, but is pliable enough to fold into your desired shape. This lets you sand irregular surfaces such as profiles, corners and curves on wood, metal or plastic workpieces.

• Resin-bonded adhesive to withstand high frictional forces
• Aluminium-oxide coating for durability and repeated use
• Open coating means residue falls off during sanding, extending service life

Applications

• Workshops
• Art studios

How do I choose the right sandpaper?

Lower grit numbers mean more abrasion. A 40-grit sandpaper, for example, is very coarse and you'd use it for rough sanding. Finer grits such as this P180 are used to produce smooth finishes or prep surfaces before painting.
